SUMMARY:
A well-established and technically driven organisation is seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute Technical Buyer to join their team. This is a precision-focused role suited to a procurement professional who understands electronic and computer components and thrives in a performance-driven environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Focus Areas:

Sourcing and evaluating suppliers of PCBA’s, cables & wires, electronic components, machined aluminium components, and IT/network components
Requesting and analysing quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance
Negotiating pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms
Assessing supplier compliance against technical specifications and regulatory standards
Supporting strategic sourcing initiatives focused on cost saving and supplier competitiveness
Managing ERP system accuracy and procurement documentation

Requirements:

Matric – Grade 12
4–5 years’ experience in technical buying / technical procurement
Proven exposure to electronic & computer components
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
Acumatica experience advantageous
Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills
