Technical Consulting & CCM Engineer

Strategy Development -

• Analyses the market and technology and contributes to business strategies.
• Observes competitive activities.
• Identifies novel belt applications and product concepts.
• Assists the Head of Technical Consulting and the Team Lead Technical Consulting with any strategic issues that may arise.

Technical Consulting -

• Consults with regional customers (OEMs, end users, and distributors) on belt conveying technology and CS products.
• Conducts field inspections of belts, conveyor systems, and other products to assist customers in troubleshooting perceived issues.
• Attends strategic meetings with customers (original equipment manufacturers, end users, and distributors) and conveyor design engineers to discuss upcoming new product requirements.
• Conducts product and belt conveying technology training for customers (OEMs, End Users, and Distributors) in the regions.
• On request, assists the project lead with the technical aspects of large/customer projects.
• Utilizes product engineering tools; specifies requirements and provides input for software enhancements.

Article Specification -

• Creates products in accordance with Master Specifications
• Produces product specifications
• Aids with internal projects involving product specification tools.
• Assists in advocating for the company's interests in regional and global standardization committees and interest groups

Sales Channel, KAN & MarCom Support -

• Supports Sales Channels, Key Account Management, and Marketing Communications
• Assists sales teams with the quotation process, risk assessment, feasibility checks, contract review with respect to technical aspects, and technical verification of customer requirements.
• Assists sales representatives with customer visits and award negotiations
• Produces technical specifications, photographs, and videos for pertinent events and products Participates in exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences
• Train colleagues from other departments on products and systems.
• Publishes and presents technical papers
• Assists customers during their visits to CS plants
• Monitors and collects BIG data on belt performance.

BU Funnel Support -

• Contributes to the BU funnel process by introducing new products/ideas, allowing Product Management to execute Business Cases.
• Contributes to competitive technical benchmarking by gaining an understanding of regional offerings, supplying competitive samples, and submitting requests to R&D for testing and analysis.
• Coordinates and conducts field trials and follow up for the purpose of evaluating the performance of products.
• Conducts on-site product performance evaluations and initiates product optimization or development projects.

CCM Responsibilities:

• Technical communication with the customer regarding the scope and requirements of the request.
• Technical assistance during the system's installation and pre-commissioning phases.
• Commissioning on-site / remote.
• Local management of spare parts
• Reporting and monitoring of field services
• MVP for On-site assistance (R&D projects)
• Internal trainer (for CCT on portable and permanent systems) and external trainer on permanent units (for customers and partners).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• More than 2 - 4 years’ experience in the specific job field
• Experience managing small projects within his or her own organization, utilizing project management structure and templates.
• Cross functional experience: At least one year experience in a cross function
• International/Intercultural Experience:
• Participation in international projects on a sporadic basis and international travel to customers, partners, and projects, etc.
