SUMMARY:
Job Role:
Seasoned Industrial Engineer sought to lead and drive the manufacturing planning team toward operational excellence and innovation. This pivotal role ensures that manufacturing processes, systems, and teams deliver world-class performance in quality, efficiency, and safety.

Requirements:

NQF Level 7 in Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 5+ years of industrial engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Candidate with knowledge and or certification in MS Power BI would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Python and SQL databases an added advantage.
Proven track record in managing complex processes in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of operational processes in the lean manufacturing industry.

Note: Candidates will be required to undergo medical assessments.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the planning department.
Oversee drafting, process planning for production and engineering plus the fabrication of projects and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and equipment reliability.
Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for on time delivery to Sales Customers.
Mentor and develop planning talent and industrial solutions within the team.
Excellent attention to detail skills.
Developing and implementing scheduling rules and practices.
Identifying problems and helping improve processes.
Using software to generate reports and schedules.
