Technical Project Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Warehousing and Logistics industry is looking for Technical Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate would have been involved in Cloud, Network or Infrastructure rollouts and also Software implementation/integration projects. You would need a strong understanding of Azure Services & Architecture, Enterprise Networking, IT Service Management and Delivery models.

POSITION INFO:
Experience:

• 5–8 years of experience in IT project management, including:
  • Cloud projects (preferably Azure)
  • Networking or infrastructure rollouts
  • Software implementation or integration
• Strong understanding of:
  • Azure services and architecture (IaaS, PaaS, VMs, networking, security)
  • Enterprise networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, DNS, load balancers)
  • IT service management and delivery models
  • Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall project methodologies
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in dynamic or large enterprise environments
• Ability to manage vendors, contracts, and third-party services
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both technical and business-facing
• Comfortable with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Trello)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset, especially in mixed technical-functional roles
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control, and Agile methodologies is a plus

• Master Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Project Management Professional (PMP®) or PRINCE2® Practitioner – strongly recommended
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI-ACP® – for Agile-focused environments
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) – minimum baseline for cloud understanding
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) – preferred for deeper technical collaboration
• ITIL® v3 or ITIL® 4 Foundation Certification – for service-oriented delivery and governance
• ISO 27000, other IT security Training
• Prince2, PMP or equivalence - Advantage

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for technical initiatives.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure effective project execution.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Work closely with architects and engineers to guide the technical direction of projects (cloud migration, network refreshes, application upgrades, etc.).
• Understand the technical architecture of Azure environments, hybrid cloud setups, and modern enterprise networks.
• Facilitate integration of software solutions with existing infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Stay informed on evolving technologies (especially Azure, IaaS/PaaS, DevOps, and SaaS trends) to provide input during solution design.

• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, team members, and leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Translate technical issues into business-friendly language and vice versa.
• Facilitate regular status meetings, reporting, and governance reviews.
• Manage expectations across technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational governance (e.g., PMO standards, ITIL, security compliance).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes and tools.
• Maintain documentation including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and lessons learned.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration across teams.

• Ensure an ITIL MIS support process (single point of contact for helpdesk, ITSM ticketing, troubleshooting, logs analyse, reporting, Centreon monitoring) for users in the scope of work.
• Ensure production follow-up on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
• Manage IT Infrastructure projects/major change in the state of the art: express of needs from users, planning of implementation (priorities), specifications book, tender, supplier choice, user acceptance test
• Must be the custodian of the group norms and policies respect: Use only Business applications/MIS services compliant with IT catalogue
• Apply Group security and licensing policies
• Manage IT Infrastructure related contracts and SLA: Review supplier’s contracts making sure they are in accordance with BTL requirements, meeting our expectations. Eventually apply the penalties for non-compliancy.
• Maintain and update documentation of procedures and configurations
• Ensure IT Infrastructure management is compliant with ISO processes, ITIL processes and QHSE processes.
