JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, operating across the entire African continent, provides a holistic pro-active and preventative fire solution, training and consulting with the installation and maintenance of fire detection systems that meet all applicable standards, in various industries. This fast-growing Industry Expert needs the full-time services of a Junior Project Manager passionate about fire suppression and detection systems, to join their exciting journey.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities
Project management at clients' sites - install fire suppression and detection systems in various industries, including mining, industrial, commercial, agricultural
Full life cycle site implementation and project management, cost control and tracking progress with MS Projects
Solution finding for complex environments
Interface with clients, sub-contractors, technical teams, suppliers
Lots of travel, sometimes to remote sites, including mining and manufacturing plants in Africa

Desired Experience and Qualifications
Relevant Project Management or similar qualification advantage
3-5 years' Technical Project Management experience on site - progress tracking (MS Project) and cost control essential
Understanding of mechanical or civil projects
Knowledge of sprinkler systems highly recommended
Ability to work virtually, but also to attend meetings, personal interaction with clients and contractors
Own transport, willingness to regularly travel locally and internationally
Medically fit to work on mining, construction and industrial sites
Must be fully bilingual - Afrikaans and English
