A chemical raw material salesperson is needed for an established supplier to the cleaning Chemical and food industries.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Chemical Raw Material Sales Representative located in Johannesburg. The Chemical Raw Material Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth, and promoting the company''s range of chemical raw materials. The position involves attendance at trade shows and other promotional events, as well as regular travel to meet with clients in the Gauteng Area.

Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree/ National Diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering, or relevant field experience
Minimum of 3 years'' experience in a sales or business development role, with demonstrated success in the raw material chemical industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in the chemical raw material industry with a strong understanding of chemical raw materials, formulations, and manufacturing processes is preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software systems
Availability for travel to meet clients and attend trade shows
Driver''s license and reliable transportation
