An industry-leading supplier of flow control solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team. This role focuses on driving sales of valves and automation solutions into the mining sector, with a key focus on territories across Africa. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial sales processes, a technical mindset, and a proactive, strategic approach to developing new business. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on customer engagement, technical consultation, and delivering value-based solutions.

Education:

Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant technical/business field (preferred)
Sales and marketing certifications (advantageous)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3–5 years’ experience in technical sales, with a strong focus on valves and actuators
Proven sales experience within African mining markets.
Ability to conduct research, identify key decision-makers, and tailor solutions to client needs
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a consultative selling approach
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Deep business acumen—understanding how to align sales efforts with client profitability
Willingness to travel regularly across African regions
Valid passport and driver’s license
