Technical Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
A Technical Sales Representative position has become available in the Paper Technologies division, of this international organisation, based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required: 

• Degree/National Diploma in Pulp and Paper / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Chemical Engineering is a pre-requisite.
• Min 2 years relevant Technical Sales experience with relevant tertiary chemical qualification OR; 10 years’ experience in a Sales role in the Pulp & Paper industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages and understand business systems essential.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

• Retain and expand business to grow sales and profit margins to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure sustainability and growth of a specific account/accounts.
• Ensure existing applications and equipment are maintained and technical services are performed to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure that the sales efforts are aligned with overall marketing strategy.
• Maintain and improve SHERQ performance to deliver targeted sales at the lowest possible risk to the company.
• Ensure that all projects and Continuous Improvement opportunities are documented and prioritised.
