SUMMARY:
Purpose:

Support and evolve the Automated Billing Solution (ABS). The ABS is a bespoke solution which is vital to ensuring accurate revenue collection, and as such, is critically important to Gijima. The ABS supports the collection, validation and preparation of all data needed to enable the invoicing of customers via SAP.
Support and develop the internal cost allocation reporting solution to significantly improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
Support the bespoke Mainframe Configuration and Capacity Reporting application.
Support the Server, Network and Workstation Health Application reporting solution.

POSITION INFO:
Formal Education:

Relevant IT related Diploma/Degree

Technical Certifications:

ITIL Foundation
SIAM Foundation
Technical Certifications in line with role requirements

Experience & Skills:

5 to 8 years’ experience in the IT industry preferably in the Managed Service Provider or Outsource space
Broad knowledge of business processes and management
Experience with process automation
Ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional accuracy levels
Highly developed systems focused, critical thinking skills
Good problem solving and relationship management skills
Competent user of Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities:

Analyse and understand the business billing rules working closely with the contract management teams.
Engage technically with the operations teams to define the relevant data for collection
Implement the collection of the data (ETL / ELT expertise):

- Design and Building ETL / ELT procedures (SSIS)
- Collect data from various sources (web services, flat files etc)
- Write queries to transform and integrate transactional data into meaningful reporting data
- Implement agreed business rules
- Manage data load errors and exceptions
- Add the business billing rules and relevant health checks to ensure data quality and accurate invoicing presented via the bespoke Gijima Billing Portal.

Align cost allocations with client invoicing and calculated profit margins.
Address any ABS related queries.
Ensure the health of the ABS application environment.
Business as usual operational support.
Mainframe Configuration and Capacity application
Business as usual operational support of the bespoke Mainframe Configuration and Capacity Reporting application and Masinfo web portal.
Ensure the health of the environment.
Health Reporting:
- Business as usual operational support of the Server, Network and Workstation Health Application reporting solution.
- Ensure the health of the environment.
Documentation:
- Ensure all technical and relevant process and operational documentation is maintained.
