JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job title: Technical Support Engineer - Durban - 3 Month Contract

Job Responsibilities:

Perform testing and commissioning activities in line with the specified site/project requirements
Ensuring equipment work specification
Creating and carrying out test procedures
Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary performance in accordance with project program requirements
Sensitive to client’s requirements and can always provide/capture what the client wants
Providing technical support, Troubleshooting, investigating problems, diagnosing and repairing faults

Job Requirements:

At least 2 years CCTV or physical security industry experience with full knowledge of technical skills
Project Management Experience
Experience in Product selection and solution design
Excellent public speaking skills and Good at designing/ making presentations
Capable to deal with both pre-sales and after sales support
Aware and always up to date on new technology
Strong logic and ability to locate technical issues
Enthusiastic and responsible at his/her work
Good command skills (written/ verbal)
Experience in drafting testing reports (ability to collate/ draft feedback would be an advantage)

NB: Valid Driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
