Technical Support (CCTV)

Job title: Technical Support Engineer - Durban - 3 Month Contract 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and commissioning activities in line with the specified site/project requirements
• Ensuring equipment work specification
• Creating and carrying out test procedures
• Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary performance in accordance with project program requirements
• Sensitive to client’s requirements and can always provide/capture what the client wants
• Providing technical support, Troubleshooting, investigating problems, diagnosing and repairing faults

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years CCTV or physical security industry experience with full knowledge of technical skills
• Project Management Experience
• Experience in Product selection and solution design
• Excellent public speaking skills and Good at designing/ making presentations
• Capable to deal with both pre-sales and after sales support
• Aware and always up to date on new technology
• Strong logic and ability to locate technical issues
• Enthusiastic and responsible at his/her work
• Good command skills (written/ verbal)
• Experience in drafting testing reports (ability to collate/ draft feedback would be an advantage)
