Job & Company Description:

An accredited company that views itself as a leading supplier in the industry for arc furnaces is looking for a well-seasoned Technology Equipment Manager to lead their team to greater heights. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving the development of technology equipment in the business and will be expected to foster relationships with subsidiaries to grow the business’ client base. The selected candidate will also be expected to aid with business strategies that are associated with the equipment, to formulate plans that will increase sales.

Education:

• BEng/BSc/BTech/NDip in Mechanical Engineering
• PrEng or PrTech registered with ECSA
• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Draughting
• Postgraduate qualification in business management or related (advantageous)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience working with clients in the pyromettalurgical furnace sector
• Must have experience working in a profit driven environment at a management level
• Must have experience with arc furnace design and application
• Must understand CFD and FEA modelling
