Technology Portfolio Manager

SUMMARY:
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced professional to fulfill the role of a Technology Portfolio Manager for a leading JSE-listed digital company in JHB!

POSITION INFO:

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing a wide variety of technical projects during their life cycle to ensure that they meet contract requirements and objectives.
 
Suitable candidates must possess the following:

• Minimum 5 years experience in portfolio and project management
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
• Knowledge of program management operations, telecommunication systems, consumer engagement processes, and technology operations
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (ex. Excel, Word, etc.) and MS Project
• Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to drive and report on the interdependencies between technical domains (Hybrid cloud, DevOps, Software Development, Database management, ITSM Implementations, Solutions Architecture definitions)
