JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking in the banking/financial services field is looking for a Test Analyst who will be responsible for the test planning and test execution of software products developed by the company system development team as well as the supervision of test analysts and software testers to complete testing deliverables on time according to the standard defined in the test method.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE:

Matric with Mathematics
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Test Certification - ISEB Test Certification would be preferable
Required computer literacy levels

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in Financial / Payment industry will be advantageous.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field

KPI:

Manage and control individual and relevant project / intervention costs
Manage and maintain good stakeholder relationships
Deliver on internal and external stakeholder requirements/SLA’s
Deliver on BU goals and activities aligned to strategy
Identify and scope opportunities for improvement / innovation
Deliver client or company specific projects in line with company standards and in agreement with line manager
Determine scope of testing, including impact, risk and prioritisation
Creation of test plans
Prepare test cases and test packs
Assist in testing new application systems as well as enhancements to existing systems. Apply advanced testing techniques on system software, record and interpret results.
Oversee execution of prepared test cases and test scenarios
Manage the defect resolution process.
Liaise with Test manager, project managers and software teams in terms of testing plans, requirements and progress
Communicate with external clients in solving testing issues.
Policies and procedures: Provide input into relevant policies and procedures
Compliance: Comply with relevant policies & procedures, regulation and legislation
Risk: Identify and escalate risks appropriately
Assist team members to ensure understanding of required deliverables and stay abreast of technical skills
Contribute to the development of a positive team culture
