SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a motivated Test Engineer to design, execute, and analyze tests on machinery and complex systems. You will play a key role in validating product performance, reliability, and compliance before release, working closely with design, production, and quality teams based in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Develop, plan, and execute test protocols and procedures for machinery, equipment, and integrated systems. Conduct functional, performance, durability, and environmental testing on components, sub-assemblies, and finished systems. Set up, operate, and calibrate test rigs, measurement instruments, and data acquisition systems. Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to verify performance against technical specifications and requirements. Identify, document, and investigate test failures, and support root-cause analysis with engineering teams. Prepare clear, detailed test reports, protocols, and technical documentation for internal and customer use. Collaborate with design and production engineers to translate test findings into product or process improvements. Support certification, compliance, and validation activities in line with relevant industry and safety standards. Continuously improve test methods, tooling, and equipment to increase efficiency and accuracy. Ensure all testing activities comply with health, safety, and quality regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (required). Experience with machinery, equipment, or systems testing is a strong advantage. Familiarity with test equipment, data acquisition systems, and measurement instrumentation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test standards. Knowledge of relevant quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO 9001, CE marking, machinery directive). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting. Good command of Dutch (understand) Eligible to live and work in the Netherlands
