• Excellent career opportunity for a Senior Tool Room Coordinator to oversee all tooling related funtions in the manufacturing processes

POSITION INFO:
Qualification and Experience:

• Matric Plus a Technical qualification or relevant education N4 to N6
• Trade Test Certificate: Tooling, Jig and Die Maker or equivalent qualification
• 10+ Years’ relevant working experience
• 5+ Years’ supervisory experience
• Strong background in high-speed progression tools
• Proficient in MS Office Suite

• Supervise and Coordinate Tool Room Team
• Assign tasks, monitor performance and provide technical support
• Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime
• Diagnose breakdowns and implement corrective actions
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company standards
• Ensure correct use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures
• Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement
• Maintain records of tooling spare parts
• Plan and execute all breakdown repairs without delay
• Perform general daily administrative tasks and generate weekly/monthly reports
• Assist with the training and general development of subordinates
