SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in vehicle tracking and mobility technology, is seeking a Tracking Technician to join their team as a full-time team member based in Pietermaritzburg. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is technically inclined and passionate about working with hardware and software in the field.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

 Technical diploma or certification in Electronics, IT, Auto Electrical, or a related field is an advantage.

 1–2 years of experience in installing or servicing tracking devices, vehicle electronics, or similar equipment.

 Knowledge of GPS tracking systems, telematics hardware, and vehicle wiring.

 Ability to install, test, and troubleshoot tracking devices in various vehicle types.

 Understanding of mobile apps and web-based tracking platforms.

 Familiarity with diagnostic tools, multimeters, and basic vehicle servicing tools.

 Ability to follow wiring diagrams and installation schematics accurately.
