  POSITION INFO:
  The Role:

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the settlement of all trades
  • Booking of OTC Bond Trades
  • Management of suspense/stock accounts, client debit balances,  client verification,  Trial Balance, corporate actions and the distribution of reports.
  • Drawing up and submitting Letters of Representation and proxies
  • Manage and settlement of private placements and corporate actions
  • Manage cash management system
  • Monitoring the bank balance, daylight limits clearing of the bank recon
  • Management of BDA user access and maintenance of BDA tables
  • Administration of new client accounts as per set standards procedures
  • Review daily transactions and update contract notes
  • General office- and financial administration
  • Ad hoc administration duties
  Skills and Experience:

  Minimum Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification
  • Settlement Officers Examination
  • BDA Systems knowledge and working experience
  • Knowledge of the Stock Broking industry

  Technical Competencies:

  • Experience in stockbroking and private client administration [BDA / XPLAN]
  • An accounting/ bookkeeping background.
  • Computer literacy [MS Office]
