Trainee Planner

SUMMARY:

Excellent career opportunity exists with leading retail head office for high performing, analytical Graduate with strong Excel skills, mathematical aptitude and 2 years work experience in a related field dealing with and analysing stock movements, ideally in an FMCG or retail environment.

POSITION INFO:
Academic record must demonstrate high level of numeracy and previous work experience must demonstrate analytical ability with strong Excel skills. In addition, the candidate needs to be decisive, solutions orientated and able to think laterally.

Take responsibility for stock allocations to stores nationally and monitor balance of stock between stores. Liaise with buyers and suppliers, work extensively on Excel analyse sales data to forecast future sales for various core and fashion items.

• Bachelors Degree - Commerce, Finance, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain
• Matric with HG Maths | Core Maths
• Proven numerical skills
• Analytical ability and lateral thinking
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Vlookups
