Join our Training and Development team as an intern and gain hands-on experience in the full training lifecycle, from program coordination to post-training evaluation. You’ll support daily operations while building skills in HR systems, adult learning, and organizational development.

POSITION INFO:
JOB SUMMARY
The Training and Development Intern will provide comprehensive administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Training and Development team. This internship is designed to offer hands-on experience in the full training lifecycle, including needs analysis, program coordination, facilitation support, and post-training evaluation. The intern will gain exposure to HR systems, adult learning principles, and organizational development practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Support

Maintain and update training records, attendance logs, and learning management systems / digital databases
Assist in the preparation of training materials, presentations, manuals, and handouts.
Schedule training sessions and manage calendars for Training and Development Manager, facilitators, venues, and participants.
Handle internal and external correspondence related to training programs (e.g., invitations, confirmations, follow-ups).

Training Coordination

Support logistics for training sessions (Venue Booking, catering, equipment setup)
Track attendance and compile feedback forms after sessions
Assist in monitoring completion of e-learning modules and compliance training

Reporting and Documentations

Prepare reports on training activities, attendance and evaluation results.
Ensure proper filing of training-related documents for audit and compliance purposes.

General Support

Respond to queries from employees regarding training topics, schedules and requirements
Collaborate with other HR team members on development initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification
High proficiency in Microsoft Office
Must be well presented, professional and have excellent communication skills
Some working experience will be advantageous
