JOB DESCRIPTION:

Description of the Role
The Transaction Manager will work directly with the corresponding Deal Management team for the jurisdiction they are assigned. The role is responsible for all support servicing activities in relation to daily and monthly activities for transactions implemented and managed for the Lending Business areas and wider group stakeholders.

Core responsibilities include ensuring that transactions are managed effectively and accurately, with risk mitigation and data quality at the forefront of the service provided. Essentially our responsibility is to accurately manage our assets while making the banks clients our priority, delivering in a way that supports our client’s requirements and needs within an appropriate risk framework and control environment.

Skill and Experience

Relevant qualification
Accounts II compulsory
Regulatory Knowledge as applicable to the role (compulsory)

Technical knowledge

Ability to read, understand and interpret transaction documents in order to ensure the accurate management and servicing of the portfolio
Strong experience over a broad and complex Specialised Lending product range
Articulate with strong numerical competency
Ability to create and manage an amortisation profile based on various attributes relating to interest rates, repayment profiles and periods
Risk conscious – understand the operational, banking and product related risks and how to mitigate them
Understanding of general accounting principles, including debits and credits
Understanding the mechanics of a reconciliation and how to clear breaks
