Transport Manager

We are looking for a professional Transport Manager to join our team in JHB - Eastern Suburbs. If you have strong leadership and operational skills, this permanent role is for you.

POSITION INFO:
Transport Manager Key Responsibilities: Dispatch & Route Management Leadership & Communication Fleet Monitoring & Control Fleet Maintenance, Tyre & Mechanical Management Compliance & Administration Cost Control & Systems Improvement Minimum Requirements: Minimum National Senior Certificate (Gr 12). Proven experience in a Transport or Fleet Management role. Strong dispatch planning and route optimisation capability. Valid driverâs licence and own reliable transport. Key Competencies: Leadership and staff empowerment Initiative and continuous improvement mindset Strong planning, organisational, and decision-making skills Cost awareness and operational efficiency focus Working Conditions: Early morning inspections at 05:00am. On-call availability for operational issues and emergencies. Office-based role with regular yard and fleet oversight.
