SUMMARY:
TRANSPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER - CROSS BORDER
JOHANNESBURG
Full management function of the cross-border operation. Responsible for managing operational staff,
maintaining financial controls, ensuring smooth operations, and driving excellence in customer service and quality.

POSITION INFO:
Key Performance Areas:

Manage operational staff ensuring adherence to processes and guidelines.
Work closely with the Financial Manager to ensure timely invoicing, debtor recovery, and creditor management.
Manage key accounts, shipment files and assist with client queries ensuring a seamless transport process.
Ensure timely and accurate shipment updates, dashboards, and status reports to clients.
Manage rates and suppliers ensuring optimal buying conditions for the business.

Requirements:
Matric or equivalent thereof.
Relevant Diploma/Degree/Certificate in Logistics is essential
Valid driver's license
Minimum of 5 years' experience in management
7 Years Experience working with cross border cargo and hauliers
Excellent MS office skills - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
