The Role: US Finance Manager

The US Finance Manager will oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations while supporting accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and financial control across multiple entities. Working closely with the US Controller, this role plays a key part in month-end close activities, intercompany management, compliance, and process optimisation.

This position requires a hands-on finance professional who can operate effectively in a fast-paced international environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high levels of accuracy and control.

Key Responsibilities

• 5+ years’ experience managing both AR and AP functions within a finance environment
• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes across multiple channels
• Ensure timely invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and accurate cash allocation
• Review and approve payment runs while ensuring compliance with internal controls
• Own key balance sheet reconciliations, including AR/AP ledgers, intercompany balances, and bank accounts
• Lead AR and AP month-end close activities and reporting processes
• Prepare and review accruals, prepayments, revenue postings, cost postings, and working capital reports
• Manage the full intercompany reconciliation process across global finance teams
• Support VAT reporting and ensure compliance with audit and financial policy requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements across finance operations

About You

• 5+ years’ finance experience covering both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience working closely with senior finance stakeholders at Controller level
• Strong experience within multi-entity international environments
• Advanced Excel skills are essential
• Experience using accounting systems such as Xero
• Exposure to multi-ERP environments advantageous
• Strong understanding of finance operations, reconciliations, and financial controls
• Proven experience working US hours and supporting US-based stakeholders or clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• No strong accent with clear and professional communication skills
