Our client, A well-established franchised motor dealership is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Sales Manager to lead its pre-owned vehicle department. Role of the Dealership Used Vehicle Sales Manager
The Used Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for leading the dealership's pre-owned vehicle department, driving sales performance, maximising profitability, managing stock, and developing a motivated sales team. The successful candidate will ensure operational excellence while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction and achieving departmental targets.

POSITION INFO:
Duties include Lead, mentor, train, and develop the used vehicle sales team to achieve monthly sales and profitability targets. Drive used vehicle sales volume while maximising gross profit. Source, appraise, price, and manage used vehicle stock. Oversee vehicle merchandising and showroom presentation. Assist the sales team with customer negotiations, deal structuring, and closing sales. Work closely with the Finance & Insurance department to maximise customer value and dealership profitability. Monitor departmental budgets, key performance indicators, and financial performance. Manage stock ageing and implement strategies to optimise stock turn. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with dealership policies, ethical sales practices, and OEM standards. Analyse market trends and implement strategies to grow market share and customer retention. Requirements: Grade 12 \/ Matric (essential). Diploma or qualification in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field will be advantageous. Minimum 8 years' experience within a franchised motor dealership, with significant exposure to used vehicle sales. Previous experience as a Used Vehicle Sales Manager or similar management role. Proven track record of achieving used vehicle sales targets and departmental profitability. Strong knowledge of vehicle appraisals, pricing, stock management, and the used vehicle market. Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail. Valid driver's licence. Contactable references. Franchised motor dealership experience is essential.
