JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Utilities Specialist ,The Utilities Specialist will be focused on Data and is responsible for the collection, collation and analysis of data sets obtained in relation to utilities management and also for the implementation and management of fibre infrastructure and related services. This applies to all the property sectors
within the business (national).

The Utilities Specialist will be focused on Data and is responsible for the collection, collation and analysis of data sets obtained in relation to utilities management and also for the implementation and management of fibre infrastructure and related services. This applies to all the property sectors within the business (national).

5 years’ working experience related to working in the environment with municipalities.
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
Utilities Management course or similar field.

Manage and supply data sets for the purposes of energy, water and waste benchmarking and assessment using company’s current software platforms as well as internal software platforms; analyse energy & water consumption metrics to identify opportunities and create control plans to sustain energy savings. This applies to all sectors within the business on a national basis.

- Implement the objectives of the utilities data strategy as determined by the utilities manager.

- Assist business units with data sets and information related to:

o Establishment and monitoring of utilities budgets and forecasting

o Forecasting future utility needs, including facility and capital expenditures and

use studies to support recommendations to the various municipalities or utilities

providers

o Seasonal, annual, and periodic utility bill payments

o Building utility audits and performance improvement opportunity identification

o Business reporting requirements including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for internal and external stakeholder consumption

- Determine key priorities for the utilities specialist focused on data with regards to delivering on the range of data sourcing, analytics, and reporting requirements for the

business.

- Oversee the management and supply of data sets for the purposes of energy, water and

waste benchmarking and reporting using company’s current software platforms as well as externally provided software platforms. Determine and oversee analysis of energy

& water consumption metrics to identify opportunities and create control plans to sustain

resource efficiency savings.

- Metrics related to resource areas such as waste and other relevant resource areas may be added to this portfolio in time depending on company’s strategic objectives.

- Manage the Implementation and contract management for the the company and Open Access Network Fibre Policy and associated service providers.

- Oversee the implementation and management of Public Wi-Fi services.

- Assist with related ad-hoc requirements as required by the Utilities Manager.
