POSITION INFO:
An established industrial supplier is seeking a driven Sales Specialist with technical experience in LPG valves and systems. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a niche, safety-critical product portfolio and grow sales across Southern Africa. If you're mechanically minded, commercially sharp, and ready to hit the road—this one's for you.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

â Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
â Minimum 3–5 years’ technical sales experience, preferably in LPG, valves, or industrial components
â Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally and into neighbouring countries
â Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications
â Knowledge of LPG systems, fittings, regulators, and industry standards

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Proven track record in technical B2B sales and territory development
Experience engaging with OEMs, distributors, and end users
Skilled in preparing quotations, tenders, and technical proposals
Capable of conducting product demos and delivering client-specific solutions
Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., EN, ISO, ASME, API) and product compliance
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities in industrial environments
Results-driven and confident working independently with a strong commercial mindset
