SUMMARY:
Company situated in Germiston urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Warehouse Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Warehouse Manager required for the Operations department.

To provide leadership and direction to staff, including resource allocation, time keeping, coaching, mentoring, and facilitating the talent management process to create a high performing team

Manage the movement of goods, inbound and outbound
Manage all warehouse processes and procedures
Manage expenses and overtime
Ensure all required standards in the warehouse are met and maintained
Implement improvement projects on an ongoing basis

Qualifications:

Matric

Tertiary Qualification preferred (Supply Chain related)

Experience:

Approx 4-6 years warehouse management experience.

Thorough & attention to detail.

Strong customer focus and service delivery orientation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Manage stock received	Manage stock received by: Ensuring that staff correctly capture stock received Identifying incorrect parts (NCR’s) Managing the allocation of stock to the correct bin locations. Problem solve goods that will not store appropriately. Process reverse logistics timeously.
Manage warehousing Examine, evaluate and implement any changes or improvements to warehousing methods Manage the warehouse process, ensuring KPI is met Manage warehouse administration Ensure that sufficient packaging materials and consumables are available Manage stock outbound
	Ensure all goods are sent out on time, including the management of all sub processes to ensure on time shipments. Effectively plan operations to ensure optimized productivity for outbound operations
Manage Receiving and dispatch process Guide, monitor and control customer liaison Monitor orders to ensure timeous collections and deliveries	Identify problem areas and address e.g. outsource other delivery methods – couriers etc.
Manage stock Ensure that accurate stock counts take place and stock adjustments are done Analyze stock reports and cycle count sheets to identify problem areas and institute corrective action Ensure scrapping of goods takes place according to procedure
