Warehouse Manager

POSITION INFO:
This role is ideal for a candidate with experience managing teams of 30–50 people and who is comfortable overseeing large, diverse groups. Strong inventory management skills are essential to ensure efficient operations, accurate stock control, and seamless workflow across all team members.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Oversee inventory management, maintaining accurate stock levels and minimizing discrepancies.
• Manage the shipment process, ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures. Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, promoting high performance and morale. Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in inventory management.
• Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and performance metrics.

• Matric certificate.
• Tertiary qualification in Logistics Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehousing and logistics.
• Experience in the electrical engineering or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Proven experience managing inventory of over 100 line items.
• Previous experience managing teams of 30–50 people.
