Warehouse Assistant

Our client is the fastest growing storage equipment manufacturer in Southern Africa. Due to their exponential growth they currently have a vacancy for a Warehouse Assistant. If you come from a manufacturing background and you are open for an exciting new opportunity, this may be for you.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with inventory software, and able to upload data into the company system

• Analytical skills

• Mathematical skills

• Computer literacy – Ms Excel / Word and Outlook

• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift

• Physically fit (manual handling involved) Physically able to lift up to 25Kg or more

• Able to work independently

• Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory

• Highly organized and able to store items efficiently

• Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the company

• Positive "can do attitude" with ambition to excel

• Commitment and honesty

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Experience receiving & dispatching stock

• License to operate forklift as needed – If not training will be given

• Valid driver''s license
