SUMMARY:
Only candidates from the Steel & Fluid Control Industry to apply. You should have Irrigation Pumps, Valves, Pipes & Fittings and Flanges experience . Direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.

POSITION INFO:

Warehouse/Distribution Qualification essential. Minimum 8 - 10 yrs exp as Warehouse Manager. Must have strong computer skills (Syspro advantageous). Your strong personality and experience in handling and managing people coupled with your strong planning, reporting and legislative exp could secure you this position.

We are looking for an hands on individual who is comfortable in both an office and a Warehouse environment and who can oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

Strategically Manage Warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
Processing orders and planning the dispatching of products
Monitoring space and tracking stock levels
Setting aside storage areas for new stock
Responsible for Health & Safety duties / tasks
