Warehouse Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our Client a well established Company in the Helderberg Area is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

They are a leading SABS approved manufacturer and distributor of equipment into the African Continent.

Do you have 3 years’ experience in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and monitor and enforce adherence to SOPs.  Do you have knowledge of irrigation / related products?  Are you detail orientated, self motivated, positive and a focused team player?

INTRO

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:  PERMANENT

SECTOR:                       Fire Protection & Safety

START DATE:                 IMMEDIATE / A.S.A.P

DUTIES:

Supervise warehouse staff

Manage the flow of operations in the warehouse

Identify bottle-necks and assist in any area of the warehouse as needed

Delegate warehouse actions

Communicate between various departments

Feed-back on staff productivity and monitoring thereof

Stock control

Dispatch inspections

Oversee the receiving process – verify deliveries, ensure correct paperwork is processed, etc.

Report and investigate stock integrity issues

Inform Warehouse Manager of any non-compliance or risk

Adhere to H & S policies and procedures

House-keeping

Manage and assist with cycle counts and stock takes

Keep up to date with product knowledge

Follow company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Tertiary qualification would be an advantage

Forklift license – advantage

Syspro – preferred but other ERP system an advantage
