Warranty Administrator

SUMMARY:
Our client in the automotive industry is looking to employ a Warranty Administrator in Cape Town with technical knowledge on trucks and parts

POSITION INFO:
Job Description:

- Support the Workshop Manager in a constructive manner
- Personally manage work efficiently
- Build sound relationships with other departments
- To keep in line with the service department procedures
- To invoice and cost job cards on a daily basis
- Identification of warranty claims and processing
- Follow up on claims on a daily basis
- Submission of customer goodwill claims where failures occur out of the warranty parameters
- Responsible of all weekend and month end reports
- Responsible to keep record of warranty claims and parts
- Responsible for the safe keep of the warranty parts
- Interacting between head office and other stakeholders
- Relief for service advisor from time to time
- Summary of “work in progress” on a daily basis
- May be required to perform other duties that may reasonably be required by Management
- Ensure that all tasks performed comply with minimum standards required the company

Minimum Requirements:

- Matric or higher
- Minimum 2-3 years warranty experience at either passenger of commercial vehicle dealership.
- Code 8 licence
