JOB SUMMARY:
My client is looking for an experienced wastewater and water technician to undertake designs and contract administration for projects in our Cape Town office

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualificiation

N.Dip (Civ Eng) or B.Tech (Civ Eng)
Professional registration is required
Minimum 8 years’ experience in wastewater and water treatment engineering
Proficient in Civils 3D, Revit and Autocad
Sound knowledge of GCC and FIDIC general conditions of contract

Experience

Civil, hydraulic and layout design of wastewater and water treatment infrastructure
Civil and hydraulic design of sewer and water pump stations
Gravity and pressure pipe design
Contract administration (GCC and FIDIC)
SANS 1200 bills of quantities

Job Profile / Skills

Ability to work within technical teams and individually
Would suite a technically strong and loyal person with a solid work ethic
Good communication skills
Ability to manage time, quality and effort in order to deliver a quality product with time & cost constraints
Ability to work under pressure
A valid driver’s licence is essential
Must be computer literate
Must have traceable and contactable references
