Our client is seeking a Service Technician for their team in Stellenbosch.

Location: Stellenbosch

Requirements:

Matric or equivalent
Drivers License
Plumbing and pipe fitting knowledge & experience not negotiable
English with Afrikaans preferred
Willingness to travel preferred
Knowledge of Water filtration plants will be an advantage
Electrical experience advantageous
Borehole experience advantageous

About:

Client communication and site inspections.
Servicing of our Water filtration plants, i.e. knowledge of membranes, bag filters, pumps and motors.
Chemical handling
Plumbing experience / Pipe fitting experience
Perform all diagnostics and analyses to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely, efficient manner.
Install, upgrade, and maintain water purification equipment.
Maintenance of plants on site
Fault finding and repairs on site.
Complete the job task checklist accurately and on time.
Assist other employees with product and equipment delivery and installation.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Communicate positively with the office, co-workers and customers to maintain positive public relations for the company.
Basic computer experience
Basic Electrical knowledge
Must be able to operate independently
