X2 Mobile Specialist Applications Developers / Programmers (Blazor & Kotlin)

SUMMARY:
We are looking for X2 Mobile Specialist Application Developer/Programmer for one of our client based in Centurion. This is a 4 months fixed term contract. The Specialist Applications Developer/Programmer will form part of an application development and maintenance team, which will be responsible for the maintenance of a set of custom-developed applications. The Applications Developer/Programmer must have experience using the following technologies: .NET Framework 4.8+ / .NET Standard / .NET Core, Blazor, Kotlin. Development Tools: Visual Studio/ Visual Studio for Mac/ XCode/ Android Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

POSITION INFO:
Qualification and Skills Required:

• Matric plus Degree and Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field
• Application development/programming experience on a Microsoft platform
• Ability to work from detailed functional specifications, database designs and test scripts in order to complete development tasks and unit testing
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies used for application development
• A high level of proficiency in writing Microsoft SQL queries, including sub queries and cursors
• Familiarity with configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test and implement an application
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in support of the team’s goals
• Ability to communicate clearly – verbally and in written form
• Ability and willingness to engage in formal and informal knowledge transfer
• Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues

• System testing
• Translation of high level system design to application programs
• Where system enhancements are required, compile design documents and manage the changes throughout the system development life cycle
• Provide user support and respond to user calls or issues logged with the Helpdesk
• Document and manage system changes
• Investigate, fix, test and migrate system bugs’ fixes through the prescribed change management procedures
• Compile and/or update training manuals and participate in the actual user training
