A wellâestablished, reputable organisation is looking for a strong Financial Accounting Supervisor to lead critical finance operations with a foreign exchange and multinational reporting focus.
This role is perfect for a detailâdriven, handsâon finance professional who thrives in a fastâpaced environment, enjoys working with multiple currencies, and wants exposure to international reporting and crossâborder transactions.

POSITION INFO:

ð¯ Your Mission

As the Financial Accounting Supervisor, you’ll oversee the accounting function up to trial balance, manage forex and interâcompany activities, and support international and statutory reporting. You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across borders while guiding operational finance teams.

ð Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations & Supervision

Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury
Maintain general ledger integrity, including journals, reconciliations, and provisions
Analyse monthly expenses, reviewing MTD and YTD trends
Manage fixed asset register and GL reconciliations

Forex & International Accounting

Handle foreign exchange transactions, revaluations, and currency updates
Oversee interâcompany accounts, balances, and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with SARB regulations for crossâborder payments
Prepare inputs for international financial reporting (HFM or similar tools advantageous)

Reporting, Compliance & Controls

Prepare and submit VAT returns and EMP201
Process payroll journals and thirdâparty statutory payments
Support management accounts, tax schedules, and audit processes
Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal finance policies

Banking & Treasury

Manage banking administration, electronic payments, credit cards, and petty cash (incl. forex)
Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, and treasury processes

ð Qualifications & Experience

â Matric and BCom Accounting
â CA(SA) advantageous but not essential
â Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or similar
â Proven experience in multiâcurrency and multinational environments
â Strong technical knowledge of:

Forex accounting
Interâcompany transactions
VAT and statutory compliance

â Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
â ERP system experience (SAP, Syspro, Sage, or similar)
