POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: An established organisation within the property sector is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a structured environment and has a solid understanding of property finance and financial reporting. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting month-end reporting while contributing to the smooth financial operation of the business. Key Responsibilities: Prepare journals and maintain the general ledger Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare Trial Balance and month-end reports Manage VAT and tax calculations and submissions Assist with financial reporting and statutory compliance Maintain accurate financial records and support audits Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualifications: National Diploma, BCom, or BTech in Accounting or Finance Experience: 3-5 years' accounting experience Property industry experience essential Skills & Competencies: MDA experience essential Power BI experience advantageous Strong VAT and tax knowledge Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills Strong attention to detail Apply now!
