POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: An established organisation is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join its senior finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with extensive group accounting experience who enjoys working across multiple entities while supporting operational and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will oversee group reporting, financial controls, costing, and project accounting while partnering with senior leadership to drive business performance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Prepare group management accounts and consolidated financial reports Oversee month-end and year-end reporting processes Manage stock accounting and project costing Perform financial analysis and business performance reporting Ensure VAT, tax, and statutory compliance Strengthen financial controls and governance across multiple entities Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualifications: BCom Degree Completed Articles or CIMA qualification Experience: 10-15 years' accounting experience Minimum 3 years in a senior finance role Manufacturing, Engineering, or Construction industry experience Skills & Competencies: Group reporting and consolidations Stock and project accounting Cost accounting German language proficiency advantageous Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong commercial and leadership abilities Apply now!
