SUMMARY:
My client within the Financial Services / Insurance / Medical Aid industry is seeking a qualified and experienced Actuarial Specialist (Product Development)

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for strategic actuarial support and design and pricing of life products. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading product design, pricing, actuarial modelling, project management and overall actuarial support and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities:

Full function support with providing insight to the business
Assist with board, EXCO and committee reports
Support and participate in the execution of the business strategy in an agile manner
Product development – understand the business needs and related gaps to inform the design of product solutions
Partner with business stakeholders to design innovative products
Apply pricing practices and develop modelling to set appropriate rates

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a BSc Actuarial Science
Must have completed or be close to completing all CT Exams
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Actuarial Analyst within the life / regulatory environment
