Alliance Partner Lead needed

POSITION INFO:

 

MAIN PURPOSE:

 

Responsible for the entire Business Partner / wholesaler management lifecycle from initial Selection, Contracting, on boarding and training, performance review and monitoring to contract termination and transition in compliance with established internal policies, guidelines and standards.

Prepare for and participate in periodic business partner evaluations, thereafter co-create strategies with key stakeholders to strengthen relationships and commercial activities with Business Partners.

Business Partner management Framework

  • Responsible for defining and maintaining the Business Partner Framework and ensuring it''''s alignment with broader Roche Diagnostics Strategy in line with International Guidelines and Divisional Standards, and defining the required protocols to align the Business Partners to these (or future) requirements.
  • Coordination between Finance, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Sales, Marketing and Healthcare Transformation & Sustainability on Business Partner related items.
  • Provides input and direction towards the implementation of a compliance framework & Standards related to the Business Partner in collaboration with the Quality/Compliance Department.
  • Hold accountable departmental Heads, Heads of Region for the creation and Implementation of procedures, processes and policies.
  • Provides input and direction towards the implementation of Legal processes related to the Business Partner in terms of contract renewal and termination processes in collaboration with the Legal Department.

Strategic Business Partnership Management

  • Manage the Business Partner relationship according to the Business Partner Management Framework.
  • Responsible for analysing and defining the profile and capabilities, which are required for each Business Partner according to the needs of each business segment, aligned with business growth plans.
  • Definition and maintenance of a KPI matrix in collaboration with the Head / Regional Managers by which new Business Partners are selected and new and existing Business Partners are measured on an ongoing basis for development and professionalization.
  • Co-creation of business development strategies.
  • Building trust and relationship with Business PartnersEngage with, stay close to relevant stakeholder communities within the relevant country/s, and evaluate trends, assessing risks, and new business opportunities for the Business Partner, in collaboration with Finance Business Partners and the Regional Heads.
  • Evaluating Business Partner Impact on customers through appropriate measurement tools.
  • Evaluating Route to market strategies with Regional Heads & Operations team.

Operational Business Partnership Management

  • Provides input and direction towards commercial policies related to the Business Partner Channel in terms of pricing models and Business Partner incentive practices in coordination with Commercial Finance and Regional Heads.
  • Co-creation of internal controls for the effective transactional relationship of Business Partners with cross functional / network teams (not limited to payments, receivables, supply chain etc.)
  • Provide regular reports to the Head of Finance and Operations for all Business Partner activities related to the relevant Frameworks & objectives for consideration to the Leadership Team.

 

 

Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelors Degree ND in Health Sciences or Business administration or related qualification. (NQF level 7)

 

  • Preferred:
    • Masters degree Post graduate qualification in Business administration, Marketing, Health Economics,, 
    • Economics or preferred
    • Related business qualification an advantage.

 

 

Must have knowledge of:

  • Experience of project management
  • 5-7 years’ experience working with Business Partners / Distributors, Business Partners Management in Healthcare environments,
  • Experience leading & coaching teams Sales & Operations Planning

 

Essential Knowledge:

  • Healthcare 3PL environment
  • Safety Health & Environment
  • GxP – (GDP) Good Distribution Practices, (GSP) Good Storage Practices, (GPV) Good Pharmaco- Vigilance Practices.
