My client who is based in the North of Johannesburg is looking for talented software developers that can help them move up the rankings and push through the last minutes, meters or miles to crush the status quo.

You will be designing, developing and maintaining all the company’s customer facing (and internal) websites, according to business/internal stakeholders’ requirements. These websites must be visually appealing, easy to use and horizontally scalable. Responsible for development of new highly-responsive, web-based user interface. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code. Work with product teams and designers. Work with cross-functional teams to define, design and publish new features. Discover, evaluate and implement new technology to improve development
efficiency.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BSC Degree / Diploma Computer Science OR

Angular 7+ Certification

2+ years working extensively with Angular & TypeScript

Strong expertise with HTML5, JavaScript, Angular 2, Functional programming principals, CSS3, and writing cross-browser responsive/compatible code

Additional frameworks/languages would be beneficial – NodeJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, J2EE

Understanding/ having worked within MVC patterns and practices

Experience with REST/SOAP web services and Swagger

Capable of developing complex front-end systems

Ability to manage own work and time through tickets

Object Orientated Design

Worked within an Agile / SCRUM SDLC

Understanding of Linux OS and associated web server technologies (Apache)

MySQL / Progress / Mongo

Source code management (GitHub)

 Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
