JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client a wine farm in Stellenbosch is looking to employ a Assistant Accountant.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience
Bookkeeping qualification / diploma (advantage)
Experience with accounting programs, Xero and VIP
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

Check Purchase orders to creditors invoices
Processing of creditors
Creditor’s recons
Debtors’ recons
Petty Cash reconciliations and capturing
Bi-weekly Wages
Monthly journals
Processing of Bank transactions and reconciliations
Will report to the Senior Accountant
Assist with Audits
Ad-hoc tasks
