BI Team Lead

We are looking for a BI Team Lead to join a dynamic, young company focused on software solutions for the Short Term Insurance Industry. 

The successful incumbent will be expected to manage a team of BI Developers, providing leadership and developing strategy. 

The duties of this position includes but are not limited to:

• Management of a team of BI Developers
• Provide Technical Leadership in Power BI, SSRS, SSIS
• Manage BI Projects run with external providers
• Develop Power BI Strategy
• Create, Manage and Maintain SSRS reports
• Analysis, Design and Development of SSRS & Power BI reports for all lines of business
• Development of SQL queries
• Assist in testing reports and ensure sign off is collected
• Assist development team with reports integration
• Ensure reports are stored in GIT
• Research new reporting and ETL technologies
• Create and Manage ETL packages
• Analysis, Design and Development of ETL packages
• Liaise with third parties to enable data sharing

Requirements:

• MS Reporting Services
• MS Integration Services
• Power BI
• T-SQL
• Knowledge and experience within the Financial Services Industry and / or Short Term Insurance Industry will be highly advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in all MS Office applications
