Branch Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Durban is seeking a self-motivated, target driven individual to take accountability for the growth of their region.

POSITION INFO:

As Branch Manager you will be accountable for managing the Branch, oversee financial reporting, directing all operational aspects including distribution, sales, customer service, HR and all administration of the branch in accordance with company objectives. You will display a solid track record in respect of growing the regions you were responsible for the growth of the people you managed.

• Tertiary education in relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years’ sales management experience
• Minimum 3 years’ Battery/Forklift/Crane Industry related experience
• Knowledge of SYSPRO / ERP system would be advantageous
• Valid driver license and own vehicle essential
• Must be customer orientated
• Proven managerial ability
• Motivated and results-driven
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Key Performance Area

• Must meet budgets that are set out annually for all branches under your management
• Financial management of branch; authority levels, debtors days and net operating expenses
• Management of the following:
  • sales workforce calling on current customers
  • Providing of accurate information to other departments i.e. workshop, employee’s
  • Turnaround times – stand stock item 24 hours 
  • Customer enquiries
  • Tenders (if applicable)
• Adherence to all company health and safety policies
• Monthly reporting as required
• Ensuring that the branch is at all-time complaint for audits; Health and Safety, IT, HR and Finance
