JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Logistics sector, has an opportunity available for a Branch Manager in the Durban area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

8 to 10 years freight Industry experience.
Matric/Grade 12
Diploma/Degree in Transport and Logistics – Advantageous
Code 8-14 drivers’ licence with PrDP
Fully computer literate
Sound knowledge of the Durban area
Freightware knowledge will be advantageous
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills ( Proficient in English & Afrikaans)

KPAs:

Manage the day-to-day sales function in the branch
Authorize credit applications and rate proposals
Discuss customer issues and give guidance to decision making
Track weekly revenue and keep sales up to date on where we are at
Resolve customer queries
Ensure the maximization of vehicle and process efficiencies
Ensure optimal utilization of line haul vehicles
Authorize orders and invoices
Authorize HR related issues such as leave, payroll etc.
Manage and track the branch's revenue and expenditure
Suppliers/3rd Parties
Complete accruals on a monthly basis
