One of our major local clients in the Manufacturing / Retail space is looking to hire an experienced Branch Manager. The professional to be appointed must have the experience in being responsible for all the functions of the branch, overseeing most operations and attract business as well as ensuring that the branch meets its goals and objectives. POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have a minimum of +- 6 years Branch Management experience.
• Must have sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
• Must have extensive proven Sales experience.

Duties include:

• Conduct daily targets to set the selling pace for the month.
• Brand Awareness
• Interact with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback.
• Resolving customer problems as needed
• Interact with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback.

• Merchandising and training of various retail outlets set up to display and sell our products.
• Weekly
• Oversee Sales Budgets and Targets per staff member /discuss with staff.
• Weekly sales and operational meetings / feedback, motivate, strategize, marketing brainstorm sessions, weekly or monthly special incentives, new products.
• KPI’s monitor
• Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration.  Discuss competitors and the impact on our sales and customers.
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
• Demonstrating and presenting the working of a product and its features, when required. 
• Organize marketing and networking events for staff promoting the presence and reputation of both the branch and company.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification – BCom in Marketing / Sales
