JOB SUMMARY:
A listed international property conglomerate is looking for a Business Controller (Finance) to ensure that internal controls are met. You will report to the Financial Director and present financial results to EXCO. You will manage a team and be responsible to put new improved systems and procedures in place. If you are a CA(SA) with international experience, then you will excel in this role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Managing a group of 5 managers and 30 indirect reports
Present financial results to EXCO
Financial reporting
Statutory reporting
Tax governance
Assisting with the audit process from start to finish

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Accounting or equivalent
BCom Accounting Honours/CTA
Qualified CA(SA) advantageous

Experience:

Completed 3 years of articles (Big 4 or medium audit firm would be advantageous)
International exposure including Africa and Middle East
3 years’ experience in a management role

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of IFRS
Confidence in leadership
