SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Executive to join their team in Green Point, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will hold a BCom or other completed university degree, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development within the financial services industry, specifically focusing on investments. A CFP designation and RE5 qualification are essential. Strong communication, client engagement, organisational, and computer skills are required, together with a professional, energetic, and customer-focused approach.

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Development Executive within the financial services industry, with a focus on investments. Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. RE5 qualification. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong computer literacy. Excellent communication and listening skills. Customer service-oriented mindset. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with clients. Good organisational skills. Energetic, positive, and friendly attitude. Professional and presentable appearance. DUTIES: Develop and maintain strong, professional working relationships with financial advisors. Follow up on advisor requests and queries in a timely manner, ensuring that agreed service standards are consistently met. Present and communicate the benefits and value of the organization's investment and financial services offering to advisors. Liaise with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently maintained. Keep up to date with competitor products, market developments, and service offerings.
