Business Development Manager – Agencies
Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Are you a commercially driven professional with a passion for aviation and business growth? We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Agencies to lead the expansion of our charter services and drive sustainable revenue growth.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand the charter client base.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline across multiple sectors, including Oil & Gas and emerging markets.
Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
Prepare and present compelling client proposals and tender submissions.
Lead contract negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
Work closely with Operations, Safety, Engineering, Finance, IT, and other internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Monitor performance against KPIs and provide regular sales and market reports.

What We're Looking For

Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline.
5–10 years' experience in business development, sales, or a similar commercial role within the charter or aviation industry.
Strong understanding of charter operations, regulations, and market dynamics.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue and sales targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in Papua New Guinea or other emerging markets will be advantageous.
Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Charter lead generation and conversion.
Year-on-year charter revenue growth.
Customer retention and contract renewal rates.
Pipeline growth and deal closure efficiency.
Client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Timely submission of internal and external reports.
