POSITION INFO:
Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Identify and develop strategic business opportunities across targeted markets. Build and manage a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities. Develop market-entry and expansion strategies aligned with business growth objectives. Lead complex commercial negotiations with senior-level stakeholders. Secure high-value contracts and long-term service agreements. Develop commercially sound proposals and tenders demonstrating clear client value and ROI. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholders. Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, alliances and joint ventures. Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments. Provide market intelligence and insights to support business strategy. Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and senior client engagements. Collaborate with internal operational teams to develop practical and deliverable client solutions. Support and mentor sales representatives and business development partners where required. Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management, reporting and forecasting. Minimum Requirements 7-10 years' experience in business development, strategic sales or commercial leadership. Proven track record of securing large-scale contracts and driving revenue growth. Experience working across African markets. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Experience managing complex, multi-country engagements and partnerships. Excellent negotiation, influencing and executive-level communication skills. Strong understanding of African market dynamics and business environments. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Business-level English. Willingness to travel extensively across the Gauteng region and as required.
